Our inspiration is helping to decontaminate the planet’s environment (ISO 14000). So, each day won by increasing the useful life of products, millions of tons in food and packaging losses thrown into the environment are saved.
With a background of more than 25 years working in the food, mining and industrial sectors, we were able to unite these worlds and experiences. This is how in 2007 we began to investigate copper with its natural sanitizing properties and its inclusion in different raw materials. This is how in 2007 we began to investigate copper and its properties to inhibit microorganisms, under a process of incorporation of it into different types of packaging.
In 2015, when we started Copperprotek SpA, we were already experts in the field. We were able to manage and improve the bioavailability of copper in different environments and biological conditions, adapting it to the different raw materials it would be adhered to, according to the utility it would have and the environmental conditions it would be exposed to. By 2015, the year we created CopperProtek, we were already experts in the area.
Our greatest effort was incorporating this technology without affecting the production processes or the final result of the different products, maintaining the same appearance, clarity and resistance, but inhibiting the development of microorganisms that affect the useful life of products and their environment.
We know many industries inside out, we understand their problems and know how to detect them. Our experience has shown us that each time we solve a customer’s problem, we can solve the next one.
